Bob “set sail” and passed peacefully on August 31 at 91 yrs of age surrounded by his family.
He was a graduate of the Ivy Business School at UWO, where he met his loving wife, Mary. They shared a full life for 67 years and together, sailed the seas, skied the slopes, and walked the streets and trails around the globe, creating lasting friendships all along the way.
Bob was the consummate entrepreneur right to the bitter end! He led Gordon G. Brown & Company for years, which is now in the capable hands of the 3rd generation.
For Bob, family was the most important part of his life, and family dinners were his favourite times which commenced at 5pm sharp with a Dirty Martini!
He was loved and will always be remembered by his children: Carey Brown (Jim), Vicki Venchiarutti (Paul), Duncan Brown (Tina) and the proud Poppa to his 6 granddaughters: Jessica (Russell), Sarah (Tys) Bianca (Matt), Cameo, Madeleine and Samantha and very proud Great Grand Poppa to Wolf and 10-day old Hilde.
